My canon dslr.

This blog is about my journey of learning to get onto the creative side of my canon camera. I have also started a challenge with my 3 sisters to post 4 photos a week, we each take turns to pick our theme, I also have started a photo a day for the month of January with a group on the internet.

from pinterest.

these are two dishes I got from the op shop, I glued them together with liquid nails then from the reticulation place in bunnings got the black thing and some bamboo sticks, voilla a bird feeder or candle holder for the garden. The sun catches them nicely, easy to make.

Last ones of Paddy's.

Present, didn't wrap up much this year.
 Decorations.

Pavlova, one of my choices. This is my recipe I use every year, its yum and not sweet, it comes from a old womens weekly cookbook I've had for years.  I think it was also on the egg packets in NZ.

Some of Paddy's.

 Christmas tree.

Celebration, friday night Hayley and I went into the city to see the decorations etc and meet Jackie after she finished work. I was really impressed with the city, we are growing up.

Jackys inspiring window/shop display.

Jacky's shop/window display. Some elaborate some simple but all inspiring and gorgeous.

Think we also went down the same streets.

table setting and another flowering tree.

Table setting, as taken in Myers with my phone. Incase I didn't get a chance on Christmas day.

Just a couple more of flowering trees, these are in the bush behind us, I thought they looked like they have candles on them.

something for you girls to do.

take an old preserving jar, one that has a glass lid, not the tiny ones or else you can't get a solar light in, from target,Kmart etc buy a $2 solar garden light and take the top solar part off, glue this into your glass lid and wait for it to charge up and light up at night, pop them in trees/garden or somewhere pretty. enjoy.

At our museum there is a bridal display dating back 200 years, this dragon has a veil, garter and bouquet

One more of mine.

 Flowering tree.

And nothing to do with our choices but I spent most of sunday making a fancy cover for my umberella that I use at the Kalamunda markets, I am in the sun, rain and all sorts this one is 2 metres square so gives me more shelter and shade. I made it from two striped pink and white sheets. what do you think.

Two of mine.

 Fruit salad.

Bike, another taken at the salvage yard, these bikes were stacked on top of each other then on the top was a really old weathered leather suitcase.
I found this little chain bike at the swapmete last week.

Two of Jacky's

 Pathway.
Male in my life, Ian runs when I get the camera out.

Some of sharons

Sea scene, this was taken while Jacky was driving, same time as the one on the bottom, not the clearest but we live along way from the beach.
Windows, went to a great salvage yard on Monday, these are some of the windows. Love the thick chipped paint.
